Get a Jardine or Supertrapp Muffler for safety reasons may be they will hear you.
You need all the help you can get.
All four times I have allmost been hit was during the day time.
I think your bike should have the headlight flash between lo and high beams during the day.
that would give some movement to you.
People can see things that move better than not.
If you were coming at a car on a side road they might see you better
if your headlight flashed between lo and high beam like a police car.
